Set across two hectares of beachfront land, Mick’s Place Rote offers space, privacy, and a wonderful sense of calm. The generous layout allows the natural landscape to remain largely untouched, creating an environment that feels open, peaceful, and unspoilt.

Guests have access to a 20-metre lap pool and sun deck, with kayaks, surfboards, SUPS and complimentary bicycles available for exploring the local area both on land and in the water.

Our four solar-powered, one-bedroom Island-style bungalows, designed with palm-thatched roofs, polished terrazzo floors, and open airy living spaces. Designed to make the most of the natural sea breezes, ceiling fans provide cooling throughout the day and night.

Each bungalow includes a private courtyard with shaded outdoor dining, a covered lounge area just outside the living space, and a spacious indoor–outdoor bathroom built with local stone, solar hot water, and filtered water throughout. A fully equipped kitchen is provided for guests who enjoy preparing their own meals, while a selection of cafes and restaurants is just a short ride away.

We also enjoy sharing a little of our island life with guests, whether it’s helping them explore the local Tuesday market, introducing them to our favourite little shops and eateries, or gathering around the table at our home for a relaxed sunset dinner.
