Our bungalows are perched high on the limestone cliffs of southern Bali. Which makes for a spectacular view during any time of the day. Take a stroll along the edge of the cliff tops and gaze your eyes over the breathtaking panoramic view of the Indian Ocean.
Uluwatu Temple
One of the sacred cardinal temples of Bali, the Uluwatu Temple is just 10 minutes away from Mata Bingin. This cliffside temple opens up to a lengthy path along the southern limestone cliffs of Bali, which boasts one of the most magical sunsets on the island. You can also witness the legendary Balinese Kecak Dance that is performed just before sunset here.
Bali Surfing Haven
Mata Bingin is conveniently positioned on the southern peninsula of Bali known for the best surfing locations. It only takes a short walk down the cliff to Bingin beach, Dreamland or Impossibles or a five to ten minute motorbike ride to reach some of the other most notable surfing beaches, such as Padang-Padang and Uluwatu. If you’re not into surfing, these beaches are also excellent for soaking up the tropical sun and enjoying the magnificent views.
